I recently stayed at this luxurious 4-star hotel and I must say, I was thoroughly impressed. The hotel staff were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. The service was top-notch, with room service available at all hours and a helpful concierge to assist with any needs or questions.
I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a luxurious and comfortable stay. From the excellent service to the beautiful grounds, this place truly exceeded my expectations.

- they provide shower cream (a bad one), shaving kit, tooth brush kit - WiFi worked ok. You need to ask the receptionist to give you the id and pwd. - you should rent a car (advise: right from the airport, cheapest seems to be AlfaService - 171€ for 3 days full casco, no limit of km), as there is nothing you can do at this hotel - a bus is available 5 times a day just accross the hotel - ask at the reception to open the gate fir you. It costs 2.60€ to Catania, and it takes one hour to go there - unlike other 4 stars hotels, no information on paper is provided about the location, facilities, excursions, whatever - they propose half board for 20€/person/day, drinks not included! You can go right on the small street in front of the main entrance (via the small gate which needs to be opened from the reception) some 1 km direction Giarre and get a good Italian pizza for 5€. The male receptionist Francesco was the only one really doing his job there, also speaking a good English.
This hotel is far from everything. We had the worst welcome ever from a female receptionist with short hairs who spoke only Italian and treated us as if we had badly bothered her. Having booked a triple room with breakfast, she put us in a room for 4, with no balcony, but a small window, facing a road on a side of the hotel. There was no information available about the hotel location, facilities or services, neither in the lobby, nor in the room. Breakfast very poor, every day the same. I saw an waiter putting back a croissant which was not eaten by someone. They often run out of spoons and glasses. Air conditioning was lousy and noisy. Ckeaning: I spotted a piece of paper on the stairs when we checked in, which was still there 6 days later. The sink in the bathroom was dirty, and so was the mirror. We were feeling as in an old prison there, together with few other tourists. Luckily we rent a car and were able to travel around (Taormina, Catania, Siracusa) and escape from this extremely unfruendly hotel. Definitely not a 4 stars facility one would expect.

Parking was on-site. We liked orizzonte. Adjacent to the airport, 16 miles...

The hotel is located in a great spot for touring around the area, with stunning views of the surrounding mountains. The room was spacious and clean, with comfortable beds and everything we needed. We also enjoyed the large swimming pool and the variety of food offered at breakfast.
The hotel was quite far from the city center, making it difficult to get around without a car. the beaches in the area were not very clean and the staff were not always very friendly or helpful.

Nice room, very big swimming pool, lot of food for breakfast, private free parking slot.
Staff is not very smiling, hard to find even with GPS, very far away from Acireale City Center and no easy way of transportation to go the city center except by car. Beaches around are dirty and small.

The pool was amazing and good location to see Mt Etna in action.
A playroom of some sort would have been an extra asset

This hotel has a convenient location for groups having dinner together with ample space in the restaurant and garden area. there are no nearby eateries or shops due to the busy road outside. the rooms are clean and tidy, with fresh white towels and hot water in the bathroom. the staff at the restaurant are efficient, catering to special dietary requirements, and presenting food in an appetizing manner. the pool is clean and hygienic, perfect for those hot days.
The rooms can be a bit noisy due to thin walls.

The big pool was nice, the garden is beautiful
The breakfast was poor, the location is not perfect as you can go to Acireale town by car, you can not go on foot as the hotel is on a main busy road, however thetown is close but there is not any pedestrian road at all.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The staff was very helpful and friendly. They provided us with a free upgrade to a suite with a stunning pool/sea view after we complained about our original room's car park view. The hotel was clean and had excellent facilities. The swimming pool was large and well-maintained. Our room was nice and comfortable, and the breakfast was plentiful. The private parking slot was secure and available at all times. Additionally, the hotel's location was perfect for us. It was only a two-minute drive from the highway, which meant that we could easily access all the places we wanted to visit within 30-45 minutes.
Everything is what we need and want.

Nice and clean swimmingpool. Good breakfast. Free Wi-Fi in the hotelroom.
Never felt so alone in a hotel before. Huge hotell but it was almost empty and it felt somewhat ghostly. And when I made my reservation I was told I got the last room! No balcony.
